The legends of Hip Hop, the pioneers of Rap, and your lyrical artists owe everything to the DJ. They’ve helped to tap into our souls from the backyard of a suburban barbeque, to the biggest performance venues in the world. Our DJs have been not only a compass for music, but they keep the party going no matter what, no matter when. One NYC DJ exemplifies that sentiment to perfection... Mr. Famous!
Born in NYC, Mr. Famous started his professional DJ career on college radio while attending SUNY Farmingdale. He then expanded his reach by working part time as DJ for SUNY Old Westbury, Hofstra University, and up and down the East Coast from DC to Virginia. After college Famous relocated to the Treasure Coast of South Florida and opened an urban clothing store for the Hip-Hop deprived, and completely changed the night life scene out in West Palm Beach. In 2003 he was a guest DJ for commercial radio on x102.3 as an on-air personality, and performed at all the local clubs in the area. Famous held true to the pioneer spirit of the DJ and was the first African American to hold a Hip Hop Concert at the West Palm Beach Convention Center… just because they said it couldn’t be done! Artists such as T-Pain, Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Rick Ross, Youngbloodz, Danger, and Lil Webbie performed to a crowd of over 8,000 people.
In 2006, Famous came back to his hometown of New York to join forces with his brother DJ Dubz and his partner Joseph “Zoo” Sable of Xquizit Entertainment; which is now one of the largest promotional companies in the NYCs urban market. Xquizit Entertainment prides itself on providing the ultimate party going experience for the grown and sexy some of NYC most exclusive locations. Every hot spot, cruise, concert and major event in NYC has been touched by Famous’ DJing/MC skills an or taken to the next level by Xquizit Entertainment.
After suffering from a tragic accident that almost left Famous paralyzed in 2006, he became even more determined to prove to the world that he is a force to be reckoned with. What would have caused the average man to quit actually pushed him to work harder at fulfilling his dreams. “One life lived by many cannot compete with one mans idea for greatness. To live that life is ones greatest potential” says Famous.
Over the years as a DJ and promoter, Famous has worked with some of today’s hottest artists such as Trina, Von Sway, T-Pain, DJ Khaled, Dana Da Designated Hata®, Brisco, Lil Wayne, Danger, Keisha Cole, Monica and Debra Cox just to name a few. He’s a member of Team Rokstar and the notorious Sniper Squad DJs., He also DJ’s courtside at Madison Square Garden for the NBA’s New York Knicks.
As an entrepreneur Famous realized the true meaning of leaving a legacy and established “Famous’ Kids”, a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to working with children by cultivating their musical talents. Famous knows the true meaning of sharing your artistry and talents with others, and is working hard to give back to the community.
“What compels me to succeed is my desire to do all that I can for my family, for myself, and for my peace of mind” says Famous about his taste for success. He recognizes the true art of his skills as a DJ, and lives his life by paying homage to the music, the movement, and the legendary masters that inspired him to throw it down on the 1’s & 2’s. You can catch Mr. Famous spinning the latest in Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Soca, House, Pop, & more. For event dates and contact information be sure to check him out at His Website
Born in the land known as the “Concrete Jungle”, better known as the Southside of Queens, New York, S.I.N.A. began to study the art form of hip hop at the young age of eight.
S.I.N.A. can recall his very first interaction with hip hop. His older brother would frequently travel to Jamaica Avenue to purchase albums and mixtapes. One afternoon, his brother took him along. Still at a young age S.I.N.A. didn’t have a real interest in hip hop, but on this day things would change.
That afternoon when they returned home, his brother began to play the tape, and the voice along with the words had S.I.N.A. hooked and it changed his life forever. The sound coming through the speakers was non other than KRS-One’s “The Bridge Is Over”. KRS-One became an icon in his eyes. At this point, not only did S.I.N.A. want to study the art form of hip hop, he wanted to become a part of it.
S.I.N.A. wrote his first rhyme when he was 13 years old, but his devotion to hip hop would soon come to a halt, when he and his family moved to Florida. It was hard for S.I.N.A. to adjust. The hip hop scene in Florida was not like the scene in New York and without his weekly trips to the Ave, it made it hard for S.I.N.A. to obtain his KRS-One mixtapes.
This would be S.I.N.A.’s first lesson in how great the power of hip hop could be. He would soon find fulfillment in south Florida’s own Trick Daddy. Trick Daddy inspired S.I.N.A. to begin writing again and at the same time, S.I.N.A. vowed to never let anything stop him from his true passion. With his northern yet southern style maturing, S.I.N.A. has truly become a force to be reckoned with.
Ready to make his mark on Hip Hop, I present to you...

LISTENING AND PRODUCING MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PASSION OF MINE; IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE I JUMPED ON TWO TURNTABLES AND A MIXER AND BEGAN SCRATCHING, BLENDING AND MIXING MUSIC.
I FOUND IT AMAZING TO SEE PEOPLE REACT TO THE MUSIC BY HOW IT WAS PLAYED RATHER THAN WHAT WAS BEING PLAYED. ANYBODY CAN PLAY SONG AFTER SONG, BUT ONLY GREAT DJ'S CAN PLAY TO THEIR CROWD’S TASTE, MAKING THEM DANCE SONG AFTER SONG. GETTING PEOPLE TO DANCE ALL NIGHT IS MUCH MORE THAN A SKILL, IT'S AN ARTFORM THAT SOME DEEJAYS HAVE MASTERED AND SOME DEEJAYS HAVE NOT MASTERED. THIS IS THE SAME ACT THAT COMES NATURAL TO ME WITHOUT PRACTICE. THE WAY I TOUCH PEOPLE WITH MY MUSIC IS MUCH MORE THAN BLENDS AND MIXES OF SONGS PLAYED BACK TO BACK; IT'S AN ART. DEEJAYING MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN MY FUTURE. I WAS AWARDED DJ OF THE MONTH IN MARCH OF 2007 BY ING TIMES MAGAZINE. FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS, I HAVE BEEN PLAYING AT PARTIES RANGING ALL ACROSS THE GLOBE. HERE ARE A FEW VENUES OFF MY LONG LIST OF APPEARANCES: DEEJAY NOTISS “THA PARTYSTARTER” WWW.DJNOTISS.COM .. DEEJAYNOTISS DEEJAYNOTISS@TMAIL.COM 1-818-274-8308 -THE SPIDER CLUB IN HOLLYWOOD -CLUB V20 IN LONG BEACH -THE LARCHMONT CLUB IN LA -THE QUEEN MARY BOAT RESORT IN LONG BEACH -CLUB SHAG IN HOLLYWOOD -THE GRAND DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES -FUS PALACE IN SANTA MONICA -RITUAL IN HOLLYWOOD -THE BALLROOM IN LAS VEGAS -FACADE IN HOLLYWOOD -CLUB CENTRAL IN HOLLYWOOD -CLUB ELEMENT IN HOLLYWOOD -CLUB V20 IN LONG BEACH -CLUB HIGHLAND IN HOLLYWOOD -PHASE 2 IN LAS VEGAS I HAVE HAD SEVERAL STRONG YEARS STUDING MY CRAFT AS A DJ AND DO NOT PLAN ON LETTING UP. I AM A FORMER BEAT UNIT MIXER AT KPAT 95.7 THE BEAT AND HAVE DONE 93.5 K-DAY IN LOS ANGELES PLUS I AM WORKING ON PRODUCTION AND PROMOTIONS FOR CLUBS AND MUSIC ACTS. MY NEXT STEP WOULD BE TO CATCH A ROAD DJ GIG WITH A MAJOR ACT AND START TOURING. MY ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO KEEP UP MY SUCCESS AND KEEP MYSELF BUSY, MAKING PEOPLE MOVE THEIR BODIES TO MY MUSIC. |
WHEN WILL IT EVER STOP?!! OR WHEN WILL THEY EVER STOP HIM?! MEALDUE unyieldingly stands alone amongst the masses of humdrum monkey see monkey do djs! HANDS DOWN MEALDUE IS LIKE NO OTHER!! PEOPLE ARE AMAZED WHEN THEY WITNESS SUCH AN ECCENTRIC DEITY! “AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A MEALDUE PARTY” is a true understatement! He’s vividly distinct!! HE’S GOT WHAT THE INDUSTRY NEEDS! WATCHING MEALDUE GET DOWN YOU WILL SEE THE UNSEEN AND HEAR THE UNTHOUGHT-OF! It’s GUARANTEED THAT YOU’LL SEE MEALDUE DO THINGS THAT YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER DJ DO AND ESPECIALLY DURING A PARTY! MEALDUE’S STYLE IS TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE!! HE IS TRULY THE LEADER OF THE ABERRATION. MEALDUE TAKES TYPICAL SONGS AND CREATES THEM INTO HIS OWN WITH AN ORIGINAL FORM OF BEAT JUGGLING HE CREATED CALLED JUMP’N!! WITH ADDING A TOUCH OF MEALDUE HE CREATES MULTIPLE RHYTMIC PATTERNS ADDING MORE ENERGY, STYLE, AND EXPLOSIVENESS TO ANY TRACK!!MealDue developed his sheer ability as a dj through his passion for music and love for the culture of hip hop! Refusing the title of an autodidact MealDue learned from his hunger! Without a hands on guide through the many possibilities of turntablism MealDue has literally grown from nothing. Before MealDue even graced the tables he began training his ears by spotting the mix and identifying scratches of local radio mix show djs. MealDue became so advanced with his listening skills to the point where he could identify what dj was on the decks without a word being said. Never having anyone to practice or battle with MealDue endlessly developed his skills for any competitor. MealDue simply wanted to be able to show he could do it all with respect and choose to do what he likes; so he did! His name is written like a fraction to symbolize his meal being overdue. His meal being overdue isn’t out of greed it’s for his hunger to exceed his best. MealDue’s hunger is to grow, to excel, and to contribute to the endless realm of turntablism. DO U EAT….?
