It took a couple of months but Eminem has dropped from number 1 to number 3 with his latest studio album Recovery. And who are the two artists that managed to take the number one and two spots? Katy Perry takes number one with her latest, Teenage Dream, and Fantasia takes number two with Back To Me. That leaves Eminem as the top selling Hip Hop artist with Recovery selling 98,689 copies and bringing the Detroit MC’s total sales for the album to 2,344,997.
Usher enters the charts with Versus, which is essentially Raymond vs Raymond’s leftovers. The album takes the number four spot selling 48,370 copies. The ATL singer’s sixth studio album, Raymond Vs Raymond, jumps from 30 to 14 giving Usher two albums in the top 20.
He is followed by Kem, who had the number two spot last week, but this week falls to number six. Intimacy: Album III moves 28,847 copies this week.
Rick Ross holds the 16th spot with his fourth studio album Teflon Don. Ross moves 20,563 copies this week, brings his total sales to 352,449, and finally breaks the 350,000 mark.
Directly behind him is an artist that broke the platinum mark last week. Drake holds the 17th position with Thank Me Later moving 20,130 units and bringing his total sales to 1,026,649.
The Black Eyed Peas fall to 34 selling 10,085 of The E.N.D but their total sales stand at the impressive 2,741,324.
